Cozi began her acting career at the age of eight when she was encouraged to audition for Annie at a local theater company in Aliso Viejo, Ca. At the time, Cozi thought it would be more fun to go see the musical than to act in it, but in the end decided to audition. She was cast as Annie and has been performing lead roles in such shows as The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and Seussical the Musical ever since. Soon, Cozi turned her attention to TV and film. She can be seen in commercials for Blue Cross/ Blue Shield of Illinois, Regions Bank, Amica Insurance, and Nestle water. Recently, Cozi landed her first principal role as Hazel in the movie Dolphin Tale, produced by Alcon Entertainment and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film stars Morgan Freeman, Harry Connick Jr., Ashley Judd, Kris Kristofferson, and Nathan Gamble and is due to be released on September 23, 2011. Cozi, now 12, lives in Orange County, California with her parents, her 16 year old sister and their puppy Bandit. She is home schooled and has a passion for singing, playing piano, going to church and making homemade movies with her friends.

Cozi plays piano and is in Level 8 of the Certificate of Merit program as of 2011.
